Michael Perry

Coach Michael Perry begins his first year as the Head Coach of the Vikings in the fall of 2019. Perry, a native of Hall County, comes to East Hall as the former Head Coach at Centennial High School for the past two seasons.   Coach Perry leaves Centennial with the highest win percentage (65%) of any coach in Centennial history as well as winning Centennial's first playoff game in 15 years. Perry's 2018 offense at Centennial led the state in total yards out of all classifications with 5,481 yards.  His quarterback, Max Brosmer led the state in passing yards during the regular season with 3,459 yards.   

Prior to coming to Centennial, Perry served as the Offensive Coordniator under Hall of Fame Coach Robby Pruitt at Coffee High School.  Perry helped lead Coffee to its first quarterfinal appearance since 2008 prior to his arrival. 

From 2006-2015, Perry was at Gainesville High School serving as OC from 2011-2015.  During his time as OC, Gainesville won its first State Title (2012).   

Coach Perry has the unique distinction of having every quarterback he has coached receive All-State accolades; Deshaun Watson (Gainesville), Mikey Gonzalez (Gainesville), Messiah Dorsey (Gainesville), Max Hughes (Coffee), and Max Brosmer (Centennial).

Tyler Perry

Coach Tyler Perry begins his first year as the Inside Receivers Coach of the Vikings in the Fall of 2019. Coach Tyler Perry is the twin brother of Head Coach Michael Perry. Coach Perry is a native of Hall County, and comes to Valhalla from Centennial High School in Roswell, GA where he served as an assistant coach.

Coach T. Perry began his coaching career as the Head Coach of Gainesville Middle School for 3 seasons (2007-2009) winning 2 Hall County Championships and compiling a record of 16 Wins and 2 Losses. Coach T. Perry then became a Varsity Assistant for Gainesville in 2010 coaching Receivers and Running Backs and helped lead Gainesville to its one and only State Title in Football in 2012.

After coaching at Gainesville, Coach T. Perry went with his brother to Centennial High School in Roswell where he helped to guide Centennial to its first playoff win in 15 years and led the state of Georgia in Total Offense for all classifications in 2018.

Coach T. Perry LOVES coaching the Air Raid Offense, has coached several All-State performers, and his former players have set numerous offensive school records at Gainesville and Centennial. Coach Perry’s favorite football coaches are Dana Holgorsen and Shannon Dawson.

I am originally from New Orleans, LA.  I have lived a year and half in South Alabama, then 8 years in Jacksonville, FL, 1 year in South Georgia, & have been in North Georgia for the last 18 years.

I have been married for 26 years.  My wife Rhonda is a Science teacher at Pope High School.  I have 2 children.  Donovan (21) who is a Senior at Georgia State University majoring in Public Policy & Alyssa (19) who is a Junior at the University of Georgia majoring in Applied Biotechnology.

Lyn Marsh

Coach Lyn Marsh begins his first year as an assistant coach for the Vikings in the fall of 2019. Marsh, a native of South Carolina, comes to East Hall from Centennial High School in Roswell, GA.  Coach Marsh leaves Centennial as a part of 2 different staffs that had the winningest records in Centennial football history.

From 2006-2015, Marsh was at Gainesville High School serving as a wide receiver coach and offensive line coach from 2006-2015.  Coach Marsh was a part of the staff that won Gainesville’s first State Title in 2012.

Coach Marsh’s first stop was Blytheville High School, where he served as a wide receiver coach. Coach Marsh, then moved to Greene County Tech High School in Paragould. Coach Marsh was part of a staff at Greene County Tech that made two appearances in the state playoffs for the first time in over 25 years.  

Coach Marsh has coached numerous All State players or All Region Players; Jeffrey Blake (Greene County Tech, Paragould, AR) All State, 5A East Offensive Player of the Year, Jay Gaudlock (Gainesville) All State, Caleb Haymen (Gainesville) All State, Casen Conway (Centennial) All State, AAAAAA Region 7 Offensive Player of the Year, Blaine Mason (Centennial) All State, AAAAAA Region 7 Offensive Player of the Year and Cal Dickie (Centennial).

Steven Williams

Coach Steven Boone Williams, known simply as Boone or Coach Boone, begins his second year as an assistant football coach and recruiting coordinator at East Hall. Boone, has also completed his first season as EH’s Head Track & Field Coach. Last year, Boone had four student-athletes successfully sign their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level. Also in his first year, last year, as the head track coach, East Hall saw 16 individual 1st place finishes, 24 individual 2nd place finishes, 19 individual 3rd place finishes, 14 individual Top 5 Finishes, 33 individual Top 10 Finishes and 17 individual school records broken. Prior to coming to East Hall, Boone served as an assistant coach at Duluth High School and Pinecrest Academy.


Prior to entering the education and coaching professions, Boone served in multiple roles as a General Manager, Marketing Manager, and business advisor to several seven figure grossing nightclubs in the Washington, DC area. He served as a talent acquisition coordinator for several music festivals in the greater Washington, DC area as well as North Carolina. Boone has also owned and operated a concert/show entertainment facilitation company since 2014 which has planned, budgeted, and managed music concerts and shows for clients across 13 states and 2 countries. 

Coach Boone has a young daughter, Xena, that attends Pinecrest Academy in Forsyth County.

Dr. Fletcher Law comes to East Hall football with over twenty years of football coaching experience. Law is familiar with the East Hall Nation as he once enjoyed serving as a pastor in Lula for several years. His high school football playing class had a record of 37-7-1.

A career coaching highlight was being a member of the 2005 Riverside Military Academy G.I.S.A. State Champion's staff. Coaches that he played or worked for and who were a powerful influence are, Bobby Gruhn, Jim Lofton, Doug Dixon, Chris Lancaster, Billy Brewer as a student assistant at Ole Miss, Charlie Musselwhite, Buddy Bowman and Jim Presnell.

Law is a longtime Huddle Coach and supporter of FCA. He is blessed to be married to Kay Law, a noted first grade teacher. They are expecting a granddaughter to arrive by kick-off 2019 from son and daughter-in-law Mary Kathryn and Graham.

The Law's like grilling steaks, the beach, pugs and football. Law is an Ole Miss, UNG, Emory, and Samford alum.

Sebastian Rice

Coach Sebastian Rice begins his first year as the defensive line coach of the Vikings in the fall of 2019. Rice, a native of Gwinnett County, won a state championship in his senior year at Grayson High School. Coach Rice then played Division 1 football at Furman University where he won a conference championship. Coach Rice comes to East Hall after coaching at Centennial High School for the past four seasons.  Coach Rice has coached one all state defensive lineman (Max Martin) and five all region defensive line man (Jack Barton, Nick Croawell, Dexler Benjamin, Josh Warren, Mark Mason).

Mark Wade

Coach Wade comes to East Hall after spending 13 years at Gainesville and most recently 4 years at Lumpkin Co High School. He has coached Linebackers, Defensive Ends, Receivers, Kickers, and has been a Special Teams Coordinator and Co-Defensive Coordinator during his time as a coach.

Coach Wade also has coached soccer for 17 years and has been a head coach for the past 13 years. He will be the head coach of the girls soccer team here at East Hall this spring. 

He has been married for 23 years and has three daughters aged 20, 14, and 12. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia majoring in Technological Education.

Jonathan Sosebee

Coach Jonathan Sosebee is beginning his fourth year with East Hall High School football.  He previously coached for one year at Riverside Military Academy, making this his fifth year of coaching football.  Sosebee has experience coaching both offensive and defensive lines. He also coached baseball for East Hall for three years.  Coach Sosebee will start his fifth year coaching Junior Vikings football and is greatly involved in the program. He has experienced the life changing influence of a coach and hopes to do the same for East Hall youth.

 

Before becoming a coach, Sosebee served as a EMT/Firefighter with the City of Gainesville for 12 years.

Lahius Leverette is a native of Hall County. He attended Gainesville High School where he played football and was apart of the 2012 State Championship team. 

Shortly after graduating high school he attended Piedmont College and then transferred to Shorter University where he majored in Sport Management. 

Lahius’ interests are outdoor activities such a boating, grilling, and playing tennis with his Papa.

He is an avid Georgia sports team fan and enjoys the Atlanta Falcons, Hawks, Braves and the UGA Bulldogs.

His favorite movies are Forrest Gump, The Blindside, and Friday Night Lights.

Payton Chapman is entering her second year as the Athletic Trainer at EHHS. Payton is no stranger to the East Hall community, as she has deep Viking lineage – her grandmother (class of 1958), father (class of 1980), brother (class of 2008), and she (class of 2011). Prior to returning to East Hall, Payton worked as an athletic trainer at Lanier Christian Academy. She also has experience working with UGA football, tennis, and women’s basketball, as well as at North Oconee High School, during her time at UGA.

As a child TK was always been passionate about sports and loves everything affiliated with athletics. TK Mize attended Myers Elementary, as well as South Hall Middle School. Halfway through Junior High he switched over to Gainesville City Schools; where he began to play football along with Track and Field. He had a lot of great clutch moments on and off the field at Gainesville High School where he graduated from with the Class of 2013.

 

In his time at Gainesville High he was the starting Defensive Back (DB) on one of best and top ranked defenses in the state for many years. He was also a part of the Gainesville High State Championship team (2012).  He helped lead Gainesville to many Region Champions, a Hall Co. Championship, and Gainesville High’s first State Championship. He also participated in Track and Field where he attended the State meet for High Jump. While attending high school, he was given the opportunity by The Boys & Girls Club of Gainesville Ga. to work for the Atlanta Falcons where he assisted the former Secondary Coach, Tim Lewis, and managed Ball & Equipment. Later TK started helping and volunteering for Gainesville Park & Recreation Football League. Tk also does Football Speed and Agility workouts for the youth.
